7TH ANNUAL BREAST CANCER TEA - OCTOBER 10, 2009 AT LEXINGTON HOTEL (Oxon Hill, MD)

SOME OF THE THINGS WOV IS LOOKING FORWARD TO IN 2009!

   Launch our WOV Clubs for Young Ladies of Virtue (YLOV)-Why Luv You?-Because U Have Virtue)!
      This club will be for young ladies ages 13 - 17 years, meeting a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month, being nurtured and developed in the areas of self awareness, self esteem, health, finance, basic life skills, emotional intelligence(anger and stress management), potential and talent discovery and community outreach. It is a Rites of Virtue, learning, applying and living Virtues. The club will begin in March 2009. Location TBD.

   Launch our Rose Buds Club for little young ladies ages 6 -12 years
      This club will meet once a month, being nurtured and developed in the areas of self awareness, self esteem, health, finance, basic life skills, potential and talent discovery and community outreach. The club will begin in mid-February 2009. Location TBD.

   ·        Continue participating as a Community Partner and as the Lead in Grant writing and submission for funding.

    ·        Planning Capital Campaign to locate and purchase building for WOV.

    ·        Major Fundraisers implemented and other major events.

   ·        Recruit, Recruit and Recruit!
